Comedy Lounge was founded in January 2008 by comedian KRIS BONAPARTE and billed as Montreal’s most prestigious independent comedy series.

One Saturday night each month in the heart of downtown Montreal we helped you let go of all your worries with a quality professional comedy show. We have the best young comedians in the country on tap ready to rock the hippest comedy crowd you will ever see.

We bring national headliners alongside local favourites in the luxurious, laid back environment of the city’s hottest lounge nightclub The beautiful and spacious Karina's upstairs Lounge gives us an incredible ambiance to share the laughter. This is a comedy show you can bring a hot date to and feel like a star.

In March 2009 Bonaparte held an event called Comedy Lounge presents INTIMATE DETAILS in Toronto to test the waters. This successful event heralded the brand and in August 2009 Comedy Lounge officially came to Toronto.

This is the best night on the town you can find in one venue.  And do not forget every show ends with the beginning of a great night of partying.  Our motto is that we do the coolest comedy show in town.
